    To celebrate its launch, Cooking Channel is traveling across the country in their customized Ice Cream Truck and is partnering up with Bassetts Ice Cream! On Wednesday, July 28, from 10 am to 6 pm, Cooking Channel will park an ice cream truck on 12th Street outside of the Bassetts Ice Cream store at the Reading Terminal Market to give out free samples of Bassetts newest flavor-Guatemalan Ripple. Developed by WMMR's Preston & Steve Show, Guatemalan Ripple is a Guatemalan-sourced coffee base with mocha fudge ripple, blended with mini coffee-filled chocolates. Cooking Channel's own Ching-He Huang of Chinese Food Made Easy will also be there to personally welcome fans to the Cooking Channel.   • 4th Annual Ultimate Philadelphia Ice Cream Festival...Saturday, July 17th
    Join us for a day of fun! Bassetts Ice Cream joins forces with WHYY and Philadelphia’s leading independent frozen dessert artisans including fellow Reading Terminal merchant Miller’s Twist plus Bredenbeck’s, Uncle Dave’s Ice Cream and more for a day of frozen fun at the height of summer! Highlights of the day include ice cream eating contests, tastings, games, demonstrations, giveaways, live music, children’s crafts and more. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Center Court at the Reading Terminal Market.

    Two Hundred Ninety (290) 7-Eleven stores in the Delaware Valley will be stocking Bassetts Gadzooks! and Gadzooks Blanc ice creams by the end of May. Check back for updates.
